VeriShip Expanding HQ, Adding 30 Jobs

VeriShip, a Kansas City-based parcel audit and intelligence company, announced plans today for an expansion of its headquarters. That will entail adding roughly 30 positions in sales, data science and software development, the company said in a news release.

Officials said that hiring commitment was coming in time for the June release of VeriShip’s cloud-based parcel intelligence platform in June.

“VeriShip’s rapid growth has exceeded our expectations for success,” said Russ Lindmark, Founder and CEO. “Expanded office space will allow us to increase our capabilities in key areas that align with our future growth plans while providing our employees with an open floor plan and dedicated spaces for collaboration.”

The expansion demonstrates the company’s confidence in the booming Kansas City area tech community, as well as its enthusiasm for fostering creativity and innovation among its employees, officials said. VeriShip’s success provides further support of Kansas City’s reputation as a “burgeoning technology hub” as cited by Techweek, the nation’s leading technology conference and festival. Techweek will be held in Kansas City this coming fall.
