Royals in game until the 8th, Fall to Giant bats and Bumgarner

By Joe Sweeney

The real story is Giants place pitcher Madison Bumgarner, who threw a 4 hit complete 9 inning shutout. The Kansas City Royals were in the game until the 8th inning, untimely the Giants rallied to score three more runs to seal the victory. The 2014 World Series resumes Tuesday night in Kansas City in a must win game for the Royals. It appears Bumgarner may be scheduled to pitch Game 7 Wednesday night.

The underdog Royals have nothing to lose to the Giants, who could clinch the third World Series in the last five years. The incredible performance by the Royals in the Postseason suggests the Giants will have to work very hard to beat the Royals when the series returns at home in KC.

This journalist believes the Royals win Tuesday and we beat Bumgarner in game 7 for their second World Championship. Not so much time will tell if the Royals will reclaim the momentum this year’s World Championship.
